About me
Hi, I’m Sara
I’ve always believed there’s something magical about makeup. And I don’t just mean the colors, the brushes or how beautiful a face can look, but everything it can make us feel.
Over time, makeup became much more than something I enjoyed doing. It has been a way to express myself, to explore my creativity and, at certain moments in my life, even to find my way back to myself.
I think that’s why I love what I do so much. Because I’ve learned that beauty isn’t about looking like someone else, but about discovering everything that makes us unique.
That’s how Glowy with Sara was born: from my love for makeup and an idea that stays with me always — we all have our own way to glow.
Today I’m a professional makeup artist, trained in makeup and special effects at The Makeup Academy at UPB. I love learning, perfecting my technique and taking care of the little details.
But there’s something I enjoy even more: listening to the stories of the women who sit in front of me, getting to know them a little and being with them in those moments when they want to feel especially beautiful.
Because in the end, I believe the most beautiful part of my work isn’t only what I can create with my hands, but how I can make someone feel with them.

Before your appointment
How should I be ready for my appointment?
With a clean face and no makeup. Skin prep and false lashes are included.
Can I get my eyebrows waxed beforehand?
Yes, but at least 24 to 48 hours before your makeup.
I have sensitive skin. What should I do?
Let me know when you book. It’s important to tell me about any sensitive or active skin condition.
Do you also come to hotels or Airbnbs?
Yes. I come to wherever you’re staying: your home, a hotel or an Airbnb in Medellín and the metro area.
Is there an extra charge for coming to me?
Yes. There is a travel fee depending on the area. I’ll confirm the total price when you book.
What if I’m not ready at the agreed time?
Please be available at your appointment time, with a clean face. Waiting more than 15 minutes may affect the session.
How should my hair be for hairstyling?
Your hair should be clean and completely dry. The service includes hair prep with heat tools and professional products.
Should I bring hair accessories?
Yes. Accessories such as headpieces, flowers or pins are provided by the client.
Does makeup include hairstyling?
No. Makeup services don’t include hairstyling; hair is quoted separately. For brides, if you’d like, I can coordinate with a professional hairstylist so we both take care of you on your wedding day.
